Progressive Stages is system which enables practitioner to gradually develop deeper understanding of emptiness through the series of contemplative techniques form the variety of Buddhist traditions.
Friday evening will focus on cutting through ego tendencies - perils and misconceptions on the Path.
Saturday talks will be on Vaibhashika (Particularists) and Cittamatra (Mind only) systems.
Sunday talks will be on Madhyamaka (Middle Way) system.
Each talk will be accompanied by instructions on contemplative application of each system.
Required reading for the weekend is Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtsho Rinpoche's Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness, published by Snow Lion Publications.
